Trips to Spain
Summer is fast approaching, so the agitation of searching for the perfect holiday destination has begun. Everybody dreams about a beautiful place to visit and interesting opportunities for having fun; nobody wants to have a boring holiday.
If you are one of those who are facing problems in choosing a holiday destination, I can help you by recommending one: Spain.
I am sure you have already heard about the fact that Spain attracts millions of tourists every year, but have you ever wondered why it manages to do that? Well, it is true that Spain is a beautiful country, but this is not enough for the impressive tourist numbers.
The reason why Spain has such a big tourist flux is because of its diversity. It is such a diverse country that no matter what type of person you are, you will find something to suit your tastes and desires.
Places to visit in Spain
Since it is such a diverse country, every city, village, every corner deserves your attention because it surely has something special to offer you. However, you have to choose a destination for your holiday and Alicante might be the perfect place of which you have always dreamt.
It is a holiday resort situated on the picturesque, sunny and warm Costa Blanca, a vibrant and joyous city with hundreds of opportunities for having fun. Boredom is not a word for Alicante, because you have the beaches, the crystal clear waters, the delicate sun, the sightseeing list, the history, culture, and last, but not least, the cuisine.
For your sightseeing pleasures, an important place to visit would be the museums of Alicante. You have to visit them if you want to understand the past and the essence of the city.
Among them, the Fogueres Museum is very important because it is the museum dedicated to Alicante’s most famous fiesta: the San Juan Bonfire. The celebration is held every June and during the festival, hundreds of figures are being burned on the streets of the city.
The museum hosts those figures that were never burned for various reasons. If you want to know when you can visit it, then you should know that from Tuesdays to Saturdays it waits for its tourists from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sundays you’ll find it opened from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Don’t schedule your visit to the museum on Mondays, because you will find it closed.
