Sa Xarxa was created in 1969 by Lluisa Baltrons Colls and her husband Joan Sala Lloberas, a fisherman in Lloret. Their aim? To create a typical fisherman’s bar and to offer the growing population of tourists a quality wine and tapas bar. Their plan has been rewarded as after more than 40 years it is still run by the same family.

Sa Xarxa is an institution in Lloret de Mar! You will also meet many locals here. Especially during football matches which are screened indoors.

In 2011, the terrace was enlarged and has become an even more pleasant place to share tapas amongfriendsin the cool of the afternoon or evening.

However it is not only the friendly ambiance that has given the bar its reputation: they also serve great meals! As well as the traditional tapas such as fried small chorizos or octopus, Sa Xarxa also offers several boards (tablas in Spanish, taulas in Catalan) composed of Spanish cheese and cold meats. We recommend the bellota ham, a Spanish ham of high quality. Seafood lovers will also be well catered for.
