How to get around in Tossa de Mar.
Thanks to its coastal location, Tossa de Mar is easy to reach by car or public transport. There are regular bus services from Girona, Barcelona and other villages on the “wild coast”.
Some coastal villages can also be reached by boat with operators such as Dofijet Boats. The great advantage is that you can admire the coastline and the underwater world as the boats have a glass bottom.
If you want to explore the countryside with its picturesque villages, we recommend renting a car. The bus lines operate during the holiday season but even then, the buses don’t go everywhere and services are infrequent.
The more sporting among you can choose a hike, particularly the GR92, which runs all the way along the Costa Brava.
