In fact, Spain is known to possess the most tranquil and fun filled beaches in the world. A number of tourists flock to Costa del Sol and Costa Blanca amongst other places in Spain to enjoy the beaches and perfect year-round climate. Beach vacation in Spain can be a delight, but what if you have a baby along?
Traveling to Spain is incomplete without spending time at the beach but your little baby can cause you a lot of trouble if you don’t plan seaside vacation in Spain properly. Earlier, for seaside vacation, the only things needed were a towel and a swimsuit. But these days you need everything ranging from a beach tent to swim diapers.
These things are all the more important if you have a baby along with you when you are planning to spend a holiday on Spain beach. But carrying stuff like beach tent in an airplane can be a big hassle. There are a few tips that you must adhere to while spending time on Spain beaches with the baby.
You can find out from the hotel or resort or villa, where you are staying if baby equipments are available. If the equipment for baby is not available, you can consider renting options. You may not need both the beach tent and the playard. Either of these are enough for creating a room where baby can sleep.
Look out for supermarket, drugstore or discount department near the place of your stay. You’ll be easily able to find suntan lotion, swim diapers and inexpensive bath toys staying. It is not necessary to pack and load your suitcase unnecessarily while packing your suitcases at home. You can get all these stuff at cheap prices in Spain.
In any case if you are traveling with large baby equipments, you can rent a hand cart from the airport which will drop you down till where you are accommodating. If the load is heavy, you can also make use of the Sky Cap services.
Before arriving at the beach, make sure that you have applied sunblock properly on the baby’s skin without missing even a single part. Carry some healthy snacks such as fruits, fruit juices or any other stuff that baby can eat.
Offer your baby some water after every 20 to 30 minutes to make sure that the baby does not suffer from dehydration. Also put some cotton balls in your baby’s ears to make sure that the he does not get frightened by the sound of waves. When you make the child sleep in the beach tent, make sure that the baby is not sweating profusely.
