Your Favorite Locations
Getting to know Spain firstly requires taking a firm decision about the places you wish to travel to. Why is that? Because it is among the few countries in Europe which has dozens of sights just waiting to be admired and nearly all of them have a very unique history.
Puerta del Sol stands as a busy commercial square which is always busy and crawling with people. Long ago, there was a symbol of the sun on its main gate and thus it got its actual name The Gate of the Sun. In the present, the square of this place is famous because it represents the meeting point of many national roads. The pavement board in front of the old Postal Office marks the 0 km. Here people also celebrate New Year’s Eve, the clock within this place announcing the coming of the New Year.
Sagrada Familia is located in Barcelona and it is regarded as the most unconventional church in Europe, a true logo of its city.
The Construction of this “surreal temple” began in 1882, but it was never finished. The initial construction plans for it were to be a normal, modest neo-gothic church, but Gaudi transformed it into the most famous architectural monument in Barcelona.
Every element of it is carved with symbols inspired from nature. But the most extraordinary thing about it is not the symbols, but the diversity of the colors and materials used to build it (plastic, ceramic, mosaic, iron and different types of stone).
Sagrada Familia remains the most impressive work of Gaudi to date; he dedicated all of his life to accomplish it. He even lived in it for a better view on the progress made and the construction’s development. It remains until today the only large cathedral in Spain.
El Estadio Santiago Bernabeu is one of the most famous stadiums in the world where a lot of important games have been played. If football is your life or you are just a fiery supporter, then checking this stadium out is something you just cannot delay!

Founded in 1902, the stadium has a capacity of 75,342 seats and it became famous throughout the world because of the success of the national team in international competitions.
Ancient places, majestic cathedrals and modern stadiums are just a few of the wonderful sights you can visit in Spain. If warm weather, a lot of beaches and fresh air sound like your perfect song, combining these three with the local heritage will turn it into your favorite concert!
