Overview:

Like the majority of the beaches in the city, Marbella Beach has also become a tourist attraction after the Olympic Games which were held in Barcelona in 1992. Before this event, the Olympic village had been built close to the beaches. Today, this village is a tourist attraction. With many bars, restaurants and shops, it is the perfect place to escape from the sun in the late afternoon hours.

As a part of the preparation for the Olympics, all the beaches were arranged around the Olympic village. Till today, they are well maintained on a regular basis during the whole year and especially during summer. Marbella Beach is often visited by young people and by the residents of nearby Sant Marti district.

Marbella Beach also has a small part reserved for small children. It has an area for the children to play and several other facilities. This beach has another specialty as well. For those who like nudity, apart from the San Sebastian beach, this is the perfect place to visit.
