Mediterranean Paradises in Spain
Spain is a country that is rich in natural spectacles, and one of the most attractive of them is the beautiful coastlines it has.
It is blessed enough to have both the Mediterranean and the Atlantic coasts working to its benefit. Perhaps these two are what attract most people in need of relaxation and some fun to this region of the world.
The Balearic Islands are found on the Mediterranean side while the Canary Islands are on the Atlantic side. The two are composed of several islands that differ a lot, making them very impressive. Some visitors, upon visiting the beauties, have ended up making them their homes – never returning to their homelands.
Ibiza the White Island
Ibiza is one of the islands making up the Balearic group of Islands. It gained the name “White Island” because of the typical architecture is has, making it a major attraction center back in 1960s. In those times, it was famed for its nudist beaches and the hippie culture it had.
Currently, it has a lot to offer to people of all age groups. The young and young at heart are most attracted by the fun involved in the islands night life which begins in the late afternoons in the town and beaches, ending in discotheques until dawn.
Away from the sandy beaches lies the simple and pure Mediterranean culture, as the well as famous paintings of Ses Fontelles on the town walls. Ibiza has beautiful beaches that are a must-visit and are near the wondrous city of Ibiza. Here you can have all the fun you can take as you engage in different water sports, or just relax while reading a book in the warm climate.
Santa Eulalia is a beautiful village that has extraordinary beaches calling for attention. This small town in Ibiza also has modern installations which attract most tourists who want to feel at home and enjoy themselves at the same time.
It is also a good thing to visit San Juan and have a glimpse of the Cueva des Cuieram cave that has a temple inside. This is an interesting part of history that is also treasured.
Beaches that will blow your mind while on the island include Cala Gracio in the village of San Antonio Abad, and Isla Margalida whose nightlife rocks. If you take your time to explore the area, you will come across unpopulated, quiet beaches that are yet to be explored. Such beaches act as good spots to have some quiet personal time, or for soul searching.
