Spectacular Museums In Barcelona
The Miro Foundation
This foundation was actually a gift for Barcelona received from the famous Joan Miro, who wanted to give his birth city something to remember him: an exquisite collection of contemporary art.
The building wears a perfect white color but inside its walls you will immediately recognize the playful and joyous personality of Joan Miro. The popular Miro died in 1983 and wanted to be buried in Barcelona, so a special place was created for him on the Montjuic hills.
Gaudi’s house
This house is probably one of the most famous in Barcelona as it is the house where the great Antoni Gaudi lived for 20 years together with his niece (between 1920 and 1926).
If you visit it, you will get to know the life style of Gaudi as the house is now a museum displaying furniture pieces that belonged to the spectacular architect, some of the objects he used for decoration, drawings and even busts showing the popular architect.
