Whichever beach on the Mediterranean coast you prefer to surf, you will essentially need a wet suit and a surfboard. If you are a beginner, you can start with 3 m waves that are present at Faro de Calaburra. The beach seems like more of an ocean break with Faro de Calaburra breaking at both the sites, towards the left and right.

Make sure that you have familiarized yourself with the surfing equipment before handedly. While exploring new spots, interact with locals and make sure that you are aware of your surroundings. Winds and waves condition can change quite rapidly.
