The Beautiful Location Of Marbella
One of the most beautiful places in Europe has to be Marbella. Marbella is over twenty four kilometres of beach in Southern Europe; of course everyone around the world knows this destination to be one of the most fantastic and classy places around the world today. Marbella has almost everything that anyone could want; the atmosphere is great and it has beautiful sandy beaches with beautiful sights. Even if the beaches are not for everyone, there is a lot of beautiful countryside scenery and even some mountains, so this is one location that is meant to be enjoyed.
Marbella is a prime location that stays warm during the winter and is quite cool during the summer period; this actually happens only in Marbella and not in the rest of the Malaga province. No matter in which part of Marbella you are, there are fantastic sandy beaches to cool down during the summer months with the beauty of crystal blue water to swim in. There are even beautiful luxury houses and accommodations as well as new developments in play; not to forget the scenery as well as the masses of golf courses to choose from.
Marbella has been at the forefront in bringing the celebrities and the rich visitors to the location for many, many years. Over two decades in fact and that is not to mention those that have actually gone on to start a new life here. Marbella’s history stretches far back to the Palaeolithic era; there are many historical sites that archaeologists are still very much interested in and examining them really does prove that the history of the town actually reaches that far back.
The Romans came to town which made a lot of impact on the town. Some remains can still be found in the Villa of Río Verde which has many amazing mosaics. This town has been able to live on throughout the years with the unusual Visigoth remains as well as the basilica of Vega del Mar. The historical sites and remains can actually be seen even today creating a more special town. Till recently Marbella was really better known for being a mining town before the fabulous sights and scenery of today came about.
In fact when the town was just a mining town, it was known as the ‘Iron capital’ throughout the 19th century. However the times did change and around the thirties the whole iron industry began to have a downturn and the agricultural era began. Farming was a very popular industry when Manuel Gutiérrez de la Concha created the area of San Pedro Alcántara, which just happens to be one of the biggest farming areas in the country.
It covers around ten thousand hectares of land which is something very amazing. If anyone is trying to get to Marbella from the United Kingdom, several high profile airlines have several flights every day that go to Marbella from most major cities. Travelling through the Catalan capital Barcelona, it may be absolutely wise to think about spending at least a few days there. That is just another beautiful location that anyone could visit while on their way to Marbella.
Remember there are thousands of things to see and do in Marbella and the scenery is unbelievable so do not forget to check out every inch of the town. There is something for everyone. Anyone could run into someone rich and famous as this is really a place for the celebrities.
