The Punta Prima And Playa Flamenca Resorts

South eastern Spain

Millions of people from all over the world wish to visit Spain every year, and it seems like their dreams come true, as Spain is one of the most visited countries. Punta Prima and Playa Flamenca are two resorts that you have to visit if you find yourself in the south east of Spain. You will find the two beautiful resorts on the Orihuela Costa, very close to the Orihuela town, waiting for their tourists with a lot of sun and a good mood.

Playa Flamenca

It is only since 1972 that Playa Flamenca started to look like a holiday resort, due to some Flemish investors who thought it had a lot of potential. The attractive and picturesque coastline is now very active throughout the 300 sunny days it enjoys every year. For the entertainment of the tourists, Playa Flamenca has a very nice center, where a lot of shops and restaurants wait for their clients. The same center is full of bars and pubs where tourists can taste the famous Spanish tapas, or have a lot of fun with karaoke nights and bingo. Every Saturday is the perfect time for tourists to visit the street market that is so famous in Playa Flamenca for the chance to purchase several local goods, which are delicious, as well as fruits and vegetables cultivated in the region.

Punta Prima

Punta Prima is situated a little bit to the north of Playa Flamenca, a resort just as beautiful as the former one. Punta Prima is famous for its very tall tower, for the car sales that draw people in to visit the resort every Sunday, and for its beach, which offers visitors a fantastic view thanks to the palm trees. Very close to Punta Prima, tourists can find Torrevieja. Torrevieja is an exciting town and always busy, but tourists visit it for the Aquopolis water park, and for the amazing views offered by the marina and the promenade.

South of Punta Prima and Playa Flamenca

To the south of these two holiday resorts, other beautiful holiday resorts wait for their tourists. Among them are La Zenia and Cabo Roig. The latter was initially just a watchtower sometime in the 16th century; it now has two spectacular beaches, an impressive marina with luxury yachts and a yachting club. La Zenia is famous for its beaches which have been designated Blue Flags. The conclusion is that when you want to take advantage of the most amazing beaches, south eastern Spain is the right place.
