Highly recommended, if you want to walk in Lloret de Mar, is a walking tour on one of the two Caminos de Ronda routes below (route GR92). The Caminos de Ronda is a historical walking route from no less than 583 kilometers and runs all along the Costa Brava. Originally the Caminos da Ronda are old paths that lead the coastline of the Costa Brava follow, to connect the different villages along the coast. They also give access to the beaches and hidden coves of the Costa Brava. During your walk on the Caminos de Ronda you will enjoy it breathtaking views on the coast of the Costa Brava!
1.1 Hiking route from Lloret de Mar to Tossa de Mar via the GR92-2
The first Lloret de Mar walking route on the Caminos de Ronda leads from the bay Cala La Banys, past Cala Canyelles, all the way to the wonderful Tossa de Mar. 1.2 Walking route from Lloret de Mar to Blanes via the GR92-2
The second Lloret de Mar walking route on the Caminos de Ronda departs from the south side of Lloret de Mar beach (Playa de Lloret) towards the rocky bay of Cala Banys, then continues all the way to the picturesque seaside town of Blanes. This breathtaking route takes you on foot past some of the most beautiful sights, monuments and museums in Lloret de Mar. Halfway through, you will reach the historic settlement of Montbarbat, which will no doubt take you back in time! Another highlight that you will encounter during your trip is the former abbey Sant Pere del Bosc!
Pay attention: This route is, back and forth, a walk of more than 22 kilometers and therefore takes 7 hours without stops! So make sure you are well equipped with comfortable shoes, plenty of food & drink and a road map!
5. Route from Caulés
The Caulés route is a very long walking route that takes you to the edge of the municipality of Lloret de Mar to hermitage of Santa Susanna de Caulés to visit. The route leads through Mediterranean forests and the Puig de Montgrós, from where you have a beautiful view of the whole area. During your tour you will see plenty interesting sights encounter, but the highlight is of course the hermitage of Santa Susanna de Caulés.
Pay attention: This route is wonderful however with 31 kilometers, back and forth, also very long and heavy. Not suitable for the inexperienced hiker and make sure you are well rested before setting out!
