There are traditional parades, various exhibitions, music & dance, a fair, but also nice markets to browse around. Also on the program is always a 600 year old traditional pilgrimage “Voto del Peregrino”. More than a thousand pilgrims participate in this pilgrimage of forty kilometers between Tossa de Mar and Santa Coloma de Farners.
Festa Major de Sant Pere
Every year, from June 28 to July 29, the Tossa de Mar hosts the Festa Major de Sant Pere. This summer festival is in honor of San Pere, the patron saint of fishermen. During this biggest party in Tossa de Mar you can enjoy music & dance (the Catalan sardanes), exhibitions and parades and nice markets. On July 1, there will then be at the end of the party and before the start of the summer a big fireworks show place on the main beach of Tossa de Mar (Platja Gran)!
