Calpe is famous because of the impressive rock that emerges from the Mediterranean Sea on its coastline, called the Peñón de Ifach. This rock, visible from hundreds of miles away, is considered the symbol of the Costa Blanca and belongs to the Spanish heritage of natural parks.
