The area surrounding your villa

Tossa de Mar is a great Spanish coastal town along the Costa Brava in the Comarca Selve, in the region of Catalonia. For a day of beach you don't need to travel far, the beach is only 150m away. Bring your beach stuff and parasol; I'm sure you'll be hanging out here a lot! The city centre is very active and lively. There is an endless supply of shops, bars and cafes and a large variety of restaurants, there are even famous Michelin star restaurants in the area! In Spain, the region Catalonia is in second place when it comes to gastronomical reputation, surpassed only by the Basques.The symbol of Tossa de Mar and its most visited location is "La Vila Vella". The walled old town with its small winding streets and hidden corners offers a surprisingly panoramic view of the coast. Fancy a day of no beach but still want the water fun? Then surprise your children with a visit to the fantastic waterpark Aquadiver in Playa d'Aro. They will have so much fun on the many rides, such as the wave pool, the slides, the kamikazes or the rapids... Or go on a cultural trip to Barcelona. This famous metropolis is absolutely worth a visit. See the impressive stadium of FC Barcelona, the imposing Camp Nou, where the kids can even take pictures with one of their favourite players. But the city itself has much to offer besides that, stroll down the boulevard of la Ramblas, or see the large cathedral, La Sagrada Familia.
