In case you want to explore the region, you will find yourself directly in the snug town Vidreres. A nice typical Catalan town where little tourists can be found and you can really mingle in with the Spanish locals. It has a nice church in the centre which is surrounded with many shops. A little further away you can find the night life and wonderful sandy beaches of Blanes and Lloret de Mar. Lloret de Mar is a lively place where you can explore the night life or entertain yourself in the nice streets with restaurants and shops. But there is also a lot to do for the more active holiday-maker, like golf courses, a big water park, a dolfinarium, riding schools and sports centres. But Blanes is definitely worth visiting. A nice seaside resort, which is split in two parts. One part is the touristic hotspot with many shops, restaurants and a snug boulevard. The other part houses the nightlife of Blanes. In short it is a place with something for everybody. In the green surroundings you can go for wonderful walks or make nice cycle tours. The coastline has beside the many beaches a rough character. Who knows you might feel like visiting Barcelona, that is 80 kilometres away. The versatile kitchen and the friendly Spanish locals make the holiday complete.
