La Nova

This is a brand new, sensational villa set in one of the most peaceful and private settings, accessed by a long, private drive from a quiet lane with virtually no traffic.

It has a gated entrance and plenty of gravelled parking area and a delightful covered terrace at the front of the villa furnished with an exterior dining table and chairs. This is a lovely peaceful spot overlooking the serene gardens and pool with a lovely backdrop of the Tramuntana mountain range in the distance.

The villa is newly completed and is gorgeous and very welcoming. The owner has made full use of mallorcan stonework both in the interior and the exterior of the villa.

The main entrance is from the front covered terrace and leads directly into the lounge dining room that has impressive high beamed sloping ceilings and beautifully tiled floors. The interior style is traditional mallorcan with a contemporary feel and is decorated with rich restful colours and bright modern paintings of which the owner Marga is the artist. It's so full of detail here that it is obviously designed with an artists' flair.

There are two sofas and rocking chairs and there is a large chandelier in the middle of the room. Floaty cream curtains and a large white dining table and chairs complete the comfortable living area and there is a striking "floating" staircase that leads to the upstairs rooms. On this level is a large double bedroom with an ensuite shower bathroom.

The gorgeous farmhouse kitchen with sloping ceiling is to the back of the villa and has all full modern facilities. It has double sinks and stainless steel appliances and there is a lovely wrought iron breakfast table and chairs. A door from the kitchen leads to the back terrace where there is a gravel area and a delightful tree-house for children to play. The pool and gardens are very peaceful with almond, carob and olive trees, and there is also a brick built barbecue to one side.

On the ground level are two twin bedrooms and a single bedroom. One of the twins has the beds pushed together with an ensuite shower bathroom. The other twin has the beds separated. Both of these twin bedrooms have doors leading out onto the exterior side terrace. There is also a single bedroom which is big enough to fit a cot as well - this room is not air-conditioned. There is a separate full bathroom on this ground level that has an impressive corner hydromassage bath.
